Why are MX5’s Driving Out Cancer?

During our lifetimes we have all felt the pain of one of our close family or friends being affected by cancer, that helpless feeling of not knowing what to do and praying that the good Doctors and Nurses can find a cure and make them better; I’m sure if you have ever felt this pain then you can relate to this.

But have you ever thought about where that cure comes from? It comes from the immense work into the research of cancer, and that work cost money. It’s a simple formula, the more money we can donate, the more research that can be done, and the more people we can save.

Who are we?

We are a group of friends that have all met through our love of the Mazda MX5’s. Each of us have a story of why we are doing this charity run, whether that be in memory of one that has passed or in celebration of one that was saved; each of us want to make a difference.

What are we doing?

We want to make a difference; we want to take the fight back to cancer and help to get the people we love onto the road to recovery. That’s why we are taking to the road to make that difference…. We will be driving from Lands End to John O Groats to shout our message loud and clear… MX5’s are Driving Out Cancer.

We are going to travel from one end of the country to the other, driving our MX5’s in convoy along the roads of the UK, oh yes, let’s not forget and drive back as we need to get home at some point… We will be stopping in as many places as possible along the way to meet up with fellow car club members to raise as much money as possible.
